- makes us happy
- may help with chronic pain
- lowers blood pressure
- promotes positive behaviours
- gives us a sense of purpose and satisfaction
Here are 5 ways to increase joy in life:
- Help a senior in your neighbourhood
- Donate what you’re not using to charity
- Fill up the bird feeder or make a donation to a local animal shelter
- Shovel a stairway or sidewalk for a neighbour
- Help out at a homeless shelter
