Happy New Year 2020!

The new year is such a great time!
It’s a time of renewal, and can be a good time for starting something new.

It doesn’t matter what that something new is — it could be related to your health, to planning for retirement, or learning a new language — the start of a new year just seems to bring with it a positive energy.

As we begin 2020, we encourage you to accomplish the things you want to. No matter what it is you or your family are thinking about for 2020, keep these key points in mind:

  • Be specific about what it is you want to accomplish
  • Make sure it’s something that is meaningful, so you’ll stay motivated
  • It should be something that is achievable and realistic
  • Set some milestones so that you can mark your progress.

We wish you a
Happy New Year &
the very best in 2020!!

The Matter of Money

We love to share tips for staying emotionally & physically healthy. We also like to share tips for staying financially healthy.

The new year is a great time to evaluate how things have gone: a time when adjustments can be made to action plans. When it comes to your financial health, the best place to start is with your household budget.

Here are 3 tips to evaluate and adjust your household budget:

  • Write down your income. Has this changed in any meaningful way? If it has, then you should factor this in.
  • Write down all your expenses. In the same way you evaluate income, you should also look at your expenses.
  • Have things changed in terms of what you need, and want? It’s key to clearly separate these two categories when you start prioritizing where money should go.

Re-evaluate your budget throughout the year as well. We’d recommend that you set this task as a reminder for yourself for every 3 months.

Health & Wellness

As we launch into a brand new year and a new decade, let’s not miss a beat!
